Departed Newlyn in thick fog 0930. Navigated our way through the random lobster pots and anchored fully laden tankers to the tune of our sound signal, one long blast every 2 minutes.

No wind.

Hey…. suns out, fog lifts..is this the start of our promised heat wave sunshine cruise?

Mean while , John, who has a trip or two under his belt to say the very least, decides to demonstrate the art of peeling a banana one handed whilst holding a bowl of muesli, with oat milk and coconut yogurt in the other hand on a unpredictably rolling yacht, impressive…until he didn’t see that wave coming… oops.. and then, there he was wearing a bowl of muesli in his crotch. When dried several hours later the resemblance of his bollocks having exploded after a long trip to sea was uncanny. Problem solved when John went “Down Island” with his new shorts purchased on the Island.

So as we approach  St. Marys having another delicious lunch of chicken Dahl in the cockpit the fog returned, managing to get into our anchorage before the fog engulfing us once more. Fortunately only about a dozen boats were there, anchored up in about 6m of water.

Dinghy blown up, outboard on, four men in a little boat! Made it to the beach, carrying the dinghy up the beach guessing the high water mark for our return from the pub!

First pub, the Atlantic, St. Austell app still working well. 2nd pub, returning safely back onboard to a tuna version of the Dahl, fantastic. Movie in the cockpit.
